Ohio Medicaid Provider Number Issue


Letters were sent from the Ohio Department of Medicaid on March 18, 2015 to various providers advising them due to their name matching an exclusion list on the Ohio Office of Medical Assistance (OMA) their current Medicaid Provider Agreement was terminated.

We immediately contacted the Ohio Department of Medicaid and were advised that due to a system upgrade many Ohio provider numbers were terminated erroneously and they are currently making it a top priority to get it corrected and assure that claims can be resubmitted for payment when the matter is resolved.

Please be assured that we are staying on top of this issue and as soon as the corrections are made, all affected Medicaid claims will be immediately resubmitted.
